Seventh day at work

Started off making alterations to the CreativeBoom banner because I really wasn't happy with what I had done the day before. Decided that it was too cluttered making it amateurish so I kept it simple and used repetition in the background to fill out the negative space. This gave a wrapping paper style to the banner which fitted with the fact that it was a birthday banner. Kept the 'birthday' boy kind of decoration on the creative boom logo as if it were a character and he was celebrating his birthday:



We then went through all our animation ideas we thought of yesterday and presented them to Andy who gave us advice and an idea of what our next steps could be. Think my idea was too much of a conceptual one and people wouldn't understand it straight away if they saw it on the website so a simpler idea needed to be used, which was fair enough.

At the end of the day I was given the NewLinc flyer to do. Also went through Jamm's new branding I did while the couple were away:

There's a lot of alterations to be made to the branding which I was half expecting because I myself wasn't happy with what I had produced. So, a lot of work suddenly creeped up on me today, which is fine, better to have a lot of work than none at all :)
