Sixth day at work

Had two additional work experience employees joining our team today which was nice. Jess fits into the category of being the all-round nice girl, easy to talk to and genuinely kind. Aaron at first seemed a little shy and reserved though I soon found out that he is an out-going guy with amazing drawing skills. I is jealous.

Today I worked mostly on a CreativeBoom banner for their anniversary/birthday which was quite a fun project with hardly any restrictions:









Then I edited the NewLinc Bookmark I had created from scratch the other day:

We also started thinking up ideas for the JammMedia website animation. Thinking conceptually...looking at how JammMedia turn other company's branding from boring to new and inspiring. So my idea was to have characters walking through a boring city scape- possibly use black and white photography for this part to stop motion the characters. They then fall through the landscape into a design world, everything turns from black and white to colourful and vibrant. Maybe having the characters change from real humans to animated characters to show them falling into an imaginary, more interesting world. This idea represents how clients are welcome to embark on a new more modern design world with their branding. A pretty simple idea but if it goes forward, the design of the animation has to be believable.

So a very productive day indeed.
